Speaker Terms and Conditions

TechBhubaneswar is a mega event for software professionals only.
Speakers are invited to present sessions which will be relevant to the conference theme at all skills levels – from novice to advanced.
Interested speakers can submit their proposal through “Be a Speaker” form only.
The last date of submission for speaker proposal is – Friday, 23rd September, 2016 (mid-night).
TechBhubaneswar is looking for the most discussed topics on current technology trends in the market, or hot topics deciding the future of software development and testing.
Proposals are invited in three main categories – Technical Talks (60 minutes), Non Technical – Corporate Talks (60 Minutes) and Lightning Session (15 minutes).
TechBhubaneswar has certain criteria to select the speakers and the filtration rights are solely reserved by TechBhubaneswar.
The selection procedure will have 2 phases :
- First phase: Our expert panel will review your proposal.
- Second phase: If your proposal gets selected, we will intimate you for further discussion where you may be asked to demonstrate the session (sample slides only) in-front of our panel before we get it finalized.
Once your topic gets finalized, we will publish your profile along with the topic details in the TechBhubaneswar website and promote it across all our social media channels.
Speakers will have to sign an agreement for their presence in the TechBhubaneswar venue with details of the presentation.
We may live stream your session during the event.
The speakers have to carry their own gadgets (Laptop, Tablet, Software environments needed etc.) to be used by them during the presentation. Please inform us 15 days prior to the event date, in case you need any support from TechBhubaneswar for gadgets. TechBhubaneswar possesses full rights to decide whether to support or NOT.
Speakers should have the copyright/ legal ownership of the proposals and its associated presentation work submitted/demonstrated. In case of any license issues TechBhubaneswar will NOT be held responsible for it and will NOT take part in any such debate.
TechBhubaneswar has full rights to record, publish and advertise your presentation during and after the event in the website and social media channels (FB, LI, Twitter, GooglePlus, YouTube etc.).
TechBhubaneswar expects speakers will maintain their dignity and discipline during the session. In case of any indiscipline or bad conduct, TechBhubaneswar reserves the rights to intervene and take the final decision which has to be accepted by all without any debate.
TechBhubaneswar organizers reserve all rights to eliminate any speaker at any point of time based on his/ her code of conduct without any debate.
TechBhubaneswar provides a set of benefits to all the speakers which includes, travel expenses for outstation speakers, letter of acknowledgement, food and accommodation, t-shirt, memento to felicitate the speakers etc.
The above guidelines are subject to change at any point of time without any notice to the concerned authority and TechBhubaneswar reserves full rights. However the changes may be communicated to the speaker effectively.
